How can you Get involved
There are various ways in which you or your organization can get involved. Scroll through the options to see what suits you best… Alternatively, drop us a message through the contact form and we’ll get right back to you
What you can do to help financially:
1.
Set-Up Fund
Donate towards the setting up costs of the new rehabilitation facility, or sponsor a staff member.
2.
Bequests
Leave a bequest or help with the annual and/or monthly contributions.
3.
CSI Projects
Contribute through corporate or CSI projects (we are already a registered NPC and PBO)
Want to get physically involved or get your hands dirty? Then check out these options below…
1.
Volunteer
Volunteer your time and expertise to help us set up our rehabilitation facility.
Requirements:
A positive attitude and willingness to help. Some handyman skills will be a bonus!
2.
Transporter
Offer to transport wildlife from the founders to one of our first responders, or from the first responders to other permitted wildlife rehabilitation facilities (just until our permits are in place!)
Requirements:
A valid drivers license and your own vehicle.
3.
First Responder
Join our team of first responders, where you receive/collect the animal, stabilize it and ensure that it gets to one of the rehab centers timeously (training will be provided)
Requirements:
A valid drivers license and own vehicle, permission from landlord/trustees to house various animals temporarily and the right mentality (a love for animals doesn’t necessarily mean you are suited for this option)
4.
Grant Writer
We need an exceptional grant writer. If you think you are it, then please give us a call!!
Requirements:
Above average writing skills, meticulous and goal driven. Previous experience will definitely be an advantage.
5.
Fundraising & Awareness
Join our Fundraising and Awareness Team to bring in some funding and raise awareness of our cause through events, presentations and community engagements.
Requirements:
A ‘think-out- the-box’ brain, a passion for people, planning and education, and an eagerness to participate.
6.
Digital Volunteer
Data capturer or content creator – help capture and organize historic data, or produce new content.
Requirements:
Your own computer and a thorough understanding of data and content.
